The Institute for Applied Ecology built a natural plant wastewater treatment systems for the building of the palace number one of the Nursing Home "Lili" in Golubie (commune Kalinowo, pow. Ełcki, province. Warmia and Masuria). Students of the  university participated in the construction of UKSW and  they  expressed their interest to work for  the institute  during their  summer holiday. This has helped the students to acquire practical knowledge  required for the construction of  such waste water treatment plant. An environmentalist  from Nigeria Olusegun Odeyingbo who is  pursuing a semi-scientific project within  the  framework of LEONARDO DA VINCI was also part of the team that executed the project.
